Well, delayed again....
After feeling stronger for a few days
I took 4 steps backward into the abyss.
Then when I tried to use my "old PC" it crapped
out on me. Hmm - must be a metaphor there :)
My husband is letting me use his laptop so I can finally
post this from bed...

I love your poem and the metaphor of a sleeping cat to heal. Too often we turn our backs on suffering while some risk their lives to help, although China's airdrop of food this May is now being disputed sadly.
