'THIS' is enough...

When the story melts away,
and the stories always melt away,
all that’s left is:

~ ‘This’ ~

~ The Flame ~

The Light that is beyond light,
The Love that is beyond love,
The Life that is beyond life,

‘This’ that LIVES it all…

where all thought
and language
does not
need
to
exist

Where ideas & stories

of
I/me
I-ness
Oneness
I Am-ness
or
I-I
don’t
exist.

They
don’t
need
to
.
.
.

There is only

'This’

revealing
ItSelf

in every moment,
however that moment is,
being whatever It Be-e-s

And you know
in your Heart that

’This’
is
all
there
ever
Is

Just ‘This’

And
’This’
is
always
enough
.

  1. lovely post! I need this reminder, that I am not my stories, on a constant basis. I am really tuning in on listening to my heart these days, spurred on by an energy healing course and seeing an energy healer recently. I am learning to pay more attention and trust the inner knowing. And faith I am learning more about faith. There is more out there that I don't understand than I do! I am learning to bow to this.

much metta to you. You were part of my dedication of merit this morning when I did my meditation. You are in many hearts out here in blog land, for sure!

  2. Thank you ZDS :)

And of course I need these reminders too, which is why I think these words get written :)

I am excited for you with all that you are experiencing these days, tuning into the heart and trusting the inner knowing. I am reminded constantly that it really does make a difference - to relax deeply into our Natural Knowing state. And I am certainly getting the chance to refocus there as well with my solitude, which I am really beginning to enjoy! :) I love what you say about "learning to bow." There is such a gentleness and reverence in this act of bowing to what is, as I am learning too.

Thank you for the metta and dedication. I do feel the Heart support from so many. And you are in my Heart as well! Love, Christine

  4. Dearest Christine,
At what 'point' does Awareness become a flame...at what 'point' does the supposed person catch on fire...so there is no returning? When that 'background' become the foreground...becomes the prominent 'place' from which to view?

  5. Good question Leslie :) I never thought about that. But what comes to mind is this - Ramana Maharshi said: "The Self/Awareness/Source alone exists, radiant Emptiness. It is always ever present as pure Presence - Formless Awareness. It is looking out of your eyes..." So I assume when we *know* this beyond a shadow of a doubt then all else is burned up in this "Flame" of Awareness - the Inner Light...

What is your feeling on this?

  6. Perhaps when no heed is given to anything objective. LOL...OR...ALL the attention is placed on the the objective. To use a quote from our Dearest ...""To hear/see/taste with our whole being. What a stillness indeed." --
Relaxed attention seems to reveal the oneness sought. Or it has several times. Perhaps depth is lacking.

  7. Thank you Leslie...

I was just watching Mooji on YouTube and he, like the other sages, says: "Focus only on the Self. Remain unmoving in the Self." And yes, it seems that relaxed attention/awareness on 'This'(Self), always bringing awareness back to the Light of Awareness, is needed; and remembering there is nothing apart from 'This' - Self, Being, Light, One...

    :)Love

  8. Awakening means seeing that there never has been any separation?

  9. That's what "they" tell us :) As you know...

  10. Wow. A powerful reminder of the beauty in all of us if we are willing to stop and see it for what it is. The flame is a wonderful metaphor...

  11. Hello Kristen! That's the word I was looking for earlier: metaphor. The flame is a metaphor - for our pure Self, pure Consciousness, pure Awareness - the beauty of who we really are... Thank you.:)
