“I” am LIFE existing here…
“I” am the Essence of Life
living ItSelf out
here...
living ItSelf out
here...
I cannot say that I am “Christine” -
nor a Christian, Jew, Muslim, Hindu,
Sufi, Buddhist, Non-Dualist, Taoist,
or Mystic…
Mother, daughter, sister, friend,
or wife…
or wife…
nor a dream,
or an illusion…
or an illusion…
“I” am simply LIFE ~ existing ~
playing all these roles...
playing all these roles...
Suffering happens when
I try to claim
and
maintain
a
separate
identity,
a
separate
sense
of
"me"
I try to claim
and
maintain
a
separate
identity,
a
separate
sense
of
"me"

”I am a

the
breath of God,”
Hildegard of Bingen
says -
and even the
identity of a
”feather”
is
too
heavy

It’s only a metaphor

I follow the breath
to its
Source,
the
Source,
the
Silence,
and
realize
I am being
breathed
and
realize
I am being
breathed
~

The “task” then
is to surrender,
to
is to surrender,
to
the
Infinite
breath of
LIFE
that
”I”
am

Infinite
breath of
LIFE
that

DeleteThank you.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome :) And thank you for visiting Susan :) I tried to follow your link here on your comment back to your blog, but it took me to your "About" page. I clicked on the link there for your Ravens Racket blog, but the blog listed there has nothing on it? How do I find you again?

ReplyDeleteThis is such a wonderful celebration, Christine! Simply LIFE... just choosing LIFE seems to make this easier somehow, doesn't it? ;o) Each day who we are and what we do shifts, all of life shifts. No being so attached when those shifts happen, frees us up for just being... And I'm liking this more and more. Just a breath... Yes, that's all we really "are". Wonderful food for thought here today. :o) Blessings ((HUGS))
Yes, just Being the LIFE that we are! :) Coming to that recognition is certainly cause for celebration :) Thanks!
DeleteBeautiful. It also awakens the interplay between embracing and accepting while striving to bring about changes.
ReplyDeleteYes... "Accepting relative life as it is" does not mean that we don't take action for change. Realizing that we are not separate from LIFE (or you could say Buddha Mind) changes the frame of reference for where the action comes from, and how the action is carried out...
