Welcome...

Come meander with me on the pathless path of the Heart
in these anecdotal,
sometimes inspiring, sometimes personal meanderings of the Heart's opening in the every-day-ness of life...

Primordial Light - Misc.

Almost none of us knows our true identity...
We forgot that we do not know our true identity...
We think of ourselves as Americans or Chinese,
as Republicans or Democrats, as believers or
atheists.  Each of those identities might be true,
bu each is a secondary truth.

There is a deeper truth.

We are the Universe...

The Universe made us...
{our bodies are made of the same elements]

In a  most primordial way, we are cosmological
beings...

The Primal Light, the light from the beginning
of time [and beyond time] - the Primordial Light -

We are that...

Brian Swimme
From: Cosmogenesis

He goes on:

The Primal light was discovered in 1964 by
Penzias and Wilson.
We know that each of these photons comes from a
place near the origin of the Cosmos, so if we trace
these particles of light backward we are led to the
birthplace of the Universe,

We have discovered our [cosmic] origin in a colossal
sphere of light.  This colossal sphere, fourteen billion
light years away from us in every direction, is the
origin of our universe.  And thus the origin of each of us.

The empirical evidence points to a time fourteen billion
years ago when our universe consisted of a colossal sphere
made of light, as well as the primal atoms of hydrogen and
helium.
The colossal sphere transformed itself into stars and galaxies
and everything else in the known universe.

There is a synchronicity between the world
and the Universe; a symphony of energy
complimenting and working together.
There is an underlying order.
We must get in tune with the energy of
the Universe.

I am part of a vast network, an unbroken legacy of
evolved thinking sentient beings that is older than
myself, older than my ancestors, older than my species,
older than the rocks and trees and even the planet we
live upon.

.....my origins go back even further, to the Big Bang and
beyond...  eons ago, to a time before time.

Pondering Impermanence...

The Eternal Being that inhabits the body is not aging -
but I am surprisingly surprised by the reality of the body's
increasing decline: loss of memory, lack of stamina
and muscle functioning, etc...
I am on the off ramp and the inevitable dropping of the
body transition is surely coming...

Although grateful that the end of the body's struggles
is closer - (how close "she" doesn't know)
but wonders what that will be like;
to witness the death of her body
and the possibility of a
"cosmic birthing" into a new "form"
of the Formless; or maybe dissolve back
into cosmic dust, or be absorbed by the
Vastness of the Eternal.
Sentience dissolving into the Eternal...

Who really knows...

All is transient here.
We're just passing through.
I shouldn't be surprised by this,
feeling the body's decline as I do -
but still -
every so often,
it gives me pause...

Distant Moons...

Maybe I'll go to a distant moon
off Jupiter after "I" die - and be
moon dust

or become an Aurora Borealis -
Making wave forms across the
night sky

or maybe just hang out in a star cluster
or rebirth myself in a Nebula,
or through a black hole into
another Universe

This life is only a portal to Eternity...

Art - Mystic Meandering
2016
a section of a piece I did called "Emergence"
but noticed the several little white spots,
after I sprayed the canvas with water to
create the drip and melding affects, that
reminded me of "distant moons" ;)

Come... Sit...

My heart, sit only with those who know and understand you.
Sit only under a tree that is full of blossoms...

Rumi

~*~

 Come... Sit...
The Unutterable said,
inviting me deeper
into Its Infinite Silence -
into the enduring "Mystery" that
Illuminates and Enlivens...
Breathing Life into existence...

Come... Sit...

Among the clutter of the mind,
between the chaos and confusion,
amidst life's disturbances and obstacles
that are hard to navigate...

Just listen

...in Stillness...

Come... Sit...

In the respite of The Great Silence
revealing all that is true
in this life experience,
and the Great Reality
beyond...

Come... Sit...

emptied out...
humbled...
opened...

Remembering the Eternal Being that you are...

Receding again into the UnBirthed
that birthed you...

Come... Sit...

Befriend the Luminous Silence..

Come... Sit...

Pondering Impermanence...

With my mother's death last year and now with the COVID
Pandemic - feeling surrounded by death - I have become more
aware of my own mortality, especially at my age, with a body
malfunctioning, broken since birth.

So I have been pondering "death" - not morbidly, but with a
sense of the reality of the impermanence of this life of
physicality.  What can you do...  It's going to happen...
It's just the nature of time for things to fall away in the
cycle of life...

~

A few months ago, in my ponderings, I wrote this -

The "I" (the Eternal Being) that inhabits this body is not aging -
but "i" am surprised by the body's increasing decline - knowing
where it is headed - the inevitable...
death...

Saddened by the prospect -
although grateful that the end
to the body's struggles is closer -
how close "she" doesn't know -
but wonders what that will be like;
to witness the death of her body
and the possibility of a
"cosmic birthing" into a new "form"
of the Formless; or maybe dissolve
back into cosmic dust, or be absorbed
by the Vastness of the Eternal.
Sentience dissolving into the Eternal...

Who really knows...

All is transient here.
We're just passing through.
I shouldn't be surprised by this,
feeling the body's decline as I do -
but still -

gives me pause...
