The Universe Sings - Basil Braveheart

My Grandma told me that the Universe is singing in the
snowflakes, the raindrops, in the trees, the water and all
Creation. Physicists call this holistic holographic universe.
Lakotas call it Taku Wakan Skan Skan/Mitakuye Oyasin,
which means everything is connected and related in 
divine rhythm, vibration.

Remember the Lakotas know that the song sings the singer.

The Spirit sings the song.

The Song of the Stars - Radiance Sutra

Bathe deeply in that ocean of sound
which is even now vibrating within you,
resonating softly,

permeating the space of the heart.
The ear that is tuned by rapt listening
learns to hear the song of creation.
First like a hand bell,
then subtler still as a stringed instrument,
eventually the buzz of a bee.
Entering this current of sound, the Listening One
forgets the external world, and becomes
absorbed into internal sound,

The Homing Call...

I have heard the Homing Call of the Cosmos.
The deep soundings of stars and galaxies
singing the Cosmos ~

drawing me into their luminous waters...

I step through the gateway of this mortal land of
Earth and Stone
into the Eternal Cosmic Ocean ~

The Illumined hush of "The Mystery"...

Following the call,
I recognize the Celestial Songs...

Venturing into the Vastness of the Cosmic Sea,
oceanic movement becomes a pulsating permeation
of deep Stillness...

Suspended in this silent etheric fluid
~ the womb of Creation ~

everything once known to be real
is held motionless in translucent radiance.
Not needing identity or conceptual framework.
Only the immediacy and spontaneity of pure Being...

vibrate in our heart beats, we vibrate as we communicate
through our voices.

We live in a vibrational Universe.

Everything that exists in the Universe has an individual

New Poem - The Dark Side of the Moon

I have gone to the dark side of the moon – again.

Slipped just outside the light – unseen, unnoticed – lost contact.

Whirling through the darkness unable to see.

Houston, is there a “problem?”

How does this happen when one has intimately Seen?

How does the One forget that it is One – believing two?

Makes me doubt the Seeing,

holding only a glimpse…

How can there be so much darkness

when one has Seen what is –

that there is only One living Itself

in the many forms – in all the experiences:

The Truth of Existence…

Life continues on the dark side of the moon,

eventually returning to the Seeing – to the Light –

with no agenda of how the trajectory should go.

Just life completing its orbit…

Simply living.

New Poem on ASS

Now that I have your attention :) And yes, that’s my husband’s butt…

I am posting the debut of a "new" poem here and on my website: A Serenity Sanctuary (ASS).

If you like prose poetry and haven’t yet visited my offerings you can read them on the Celestial Songs page. Most all of the prose poems emerged in moments of awakening. Some are very cosmic and existential sounding. All are of a “spiritual” nature – expressions from the Stillness. They are offered as an invitation to touch and be touched by Serenity.

If you’re not into poetry but are interested in more musings, there are several on the Musings page covering topics like Stillness, Meditation, and Enlightenment.

And so, let the unveiling begin… From my Heart to yours –

The Whisper…

The Rhythm of the Silence calls me
back into Itself again and again…
It waits patiently while I move
through my stories – through my illusions.

The Rhythm invites me to dance –
to sway to its movement –
to hear its pulse –
like a whisper in the background of noise
trying to get my attention.

I have to be still to hear the whisper
of the Rhythm speaking softly –
come, be with me
come and be still
come, listen, hear me
come, dance with me
come, be with me
come and be still

I turn my attention to listen curiously,
as if someone has spoken behind me.
I wait and listen – aware.
The Rhythm rises – palpable.
It draws me to it.

I bow to the whisper of The Rhythm.
We embrace and dance the dance of Stillness.
